
I started to put down on paper some ideas I got for the game, I began by thinking about the spawn where the player will “appear” when the game start, the spawn is on the first picture and it’s called Living Quarters (Level 0).
I decided to make the character wake up from a cryo chamber or pod like in some other games or even movies, after that there is the common room, that big octagonal room, I made that room big and comfortable because this is the place where the crew is going to hang out and stay together most of their time.
The other two rooms at the side of the common room are going to be the sleeping quarters, the bathrooms, the locker and the armory after the living quarters there is an air lock that lead to the rest of the ship.
I also drew 2 other possible levels the “Broken corridor” and the “Hangar”, the corridor could become one of the few levels that let you get out of the space station, I decided to do like that because I would like to give the player and idea of where the space station is situated and how big it is and it general shape.

In this other drawing I looked at the possibility of divide the game in different sectors that could help less powerfull computer because dividing the game in different parts will make the game less laggy and faster to load, also that help us to design the game map because the different sector are not connected and we are not going to make a huge and pretty complicated map but a lot of small less complicated maps.
