Today I made a quick and simple first version for our pause menu for Terminal 404 I started it by doing the background for the menu we decided to make a similar shape to the oxygen bar to keep a correlation between them and it’s most grey with a transparent effect to be able to see the game underneath.

After than I continued by doing the button for the menu itself I began with the “quit or exit” button to exit or leave the game, also the button have a transparent effect like the menu, of course we decided to use the in-game font to give even more connection between the menu and the game as if it was a screen on the astronaut’s visor. 

The last button is the “resume” button this button is needed to go back and resume the game also this have the terminal 404 and for the moment that’s the last button we made.

Other button could come in later such as the “settings” button it will be used to change the general settings of the game this button is needed because some players would like to change a bit the volume or even the resolution or make the game go from window mode to fullscreen or vice-versa.
